The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at NMDC specializes in the diagnosis,
surgical management, and treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects of the mouth, jaws,
face, and associated structures through quality education, research, and patient care.
With experienced faculty and modern facilities, we train students to develop essential
surgical skills while promoting safe, ethical, and compassionate patient treatment.
The department provides clinical training in oral surgical procedures, including tooth extractions,
minor oral surgery, management of impacted teeth, and the diagnosis and treatment of various oral
and maxillofacial conditions. Students are encouraged to develop sound clinical judgment, surgical
knowledge, and practical skills under the supervision of experienced faculty.
Our goal is to become a center of excellence in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, offering comprehensive
and advanced surgical care to our patients while facilitating students in becoming skilled, confident,
and well-rounded dental professionals.
